Youth Empowerment Program

The Black Neighborhood Youth Empowerment Program was created to expose Black youth, ages 13+ to the vast options and opportunities they have in society and the world. The plan is accomplished through developmental workshops led by young black professionals/experts and hands-on experiences in areas such as: Community Service, Black Empowerment, Education, Health & Wellness, Financial Literacy, and Exploration through Art. The bi-weekly program takes place at DeFremery “Lil Bobby Hutton” Park in West Oakland and includes monthly field trips and runs from June-August.
